A vehicle for transporting very important people from one place to another.
This may not be the first definition that comes to mind when you think of the word coach. Perhaps you were envisioning your high school gym teacher in sweats and a baseball hat with a whistle around his or her neck. Maybe you imagined a horse drawn carriage moving across the country in search of a new life. Whatever your perception, that is what a coach can be to you.

Life Celebration Coaching can be the vehicle you use to transport you from where you are, to where you want to be! In the context of a coaching relationship, we will work together on helping you crystalize your vision, and become the person you truly are.
What makes a life coach different from a therapist?
In short, so much.
There are many models of therapy, and most deal with healing the past in order to move to the future. As a coach, I am interested in where you are now, and helping you get where you want to go. I do not have a psychology degree or any background in therapeutic counseling. What I do have is training in the coactive coaching model and a geniune interest in helping you succeed in reaching your goals.
As a coach, I personally support therapeutic counseling if that is an avenue you are travelling, or are interested in travelling. I also believe that coaching can be a wonderful compliment to talk therapy. However, if you are interested in talk therapy, I encourage you to think of coaching as an "in addition to" rather than an "instead of."
